I put together a super list of free Hindi language lessons and language courses for those interesting in learning Hindi or just brushing up on existing Italian language skills.

The list is rather extensive but will nevertheless grow significantly over time. So check back periodically and review our Hindi sections for updates.

In the future I will also add a number of Hindi online newspapers, some Hindi dictionaries, as well as a list of Hindi internet radio stations, to vary your list of resources as well as to keep your Hindi learning interesting.

Courses and Exercises

Devanagari
This set of lessons is designed to teach an English speaker to read the Devanagari script. I will sometimes use, “Hindi” to refer not only to the language but also as a synonym for its writing system, Devanagari. It is assumed that you are at least familiar with the Hindi language in general. The lessons have been created on the presumption that you would like to learn Devanagari, but you want to enjoy it and you’d rather not do any more work than needed.
