Anyone interested in learning Bulgarian has probably already realized that resources are quite limited. This can be quite frustrating.
The challenge increases with the Bulgarian language using a non Latin alphabet.
Given the challenges in finding material to learn the Bulgarian language, encountering a noteworthy course is important for any student.
The Foreign Service Institute , a department within of the U.S. State Department created a series of courses aimed at providing its overseas diplomatic personnel with practical Bulgarian language skills.
The course we found is a CD ROM which includes MP3s and a PDF version of the book.
The course uses guided imitation as its teaching methodology. 
The ultimate goal of the course is to speak the Bulgarian language easily. The course provides the student with all basic patterns of the Bulgarian language by imitating the speakers in the audio portion. This is coupled with vocabulary memorization which allows the student to manipulate the basic phrases covered and create a large number of sentences.
Since Bulgarian is written in the Cyrillic alphabet. This Bulgarian Language Course provides an introduction to the Cyrillic alphabet.
Another course to consider is the Euro Talk, Talk Now Bulgarian program. Designed for beginners who want to start learning the Bulgarian language as soon as possible, the course is especially beneficial for those aiming at the basics for business, vacation, or perhaps meeting a friend.
