The breakup of the former Yugoslavia caused some turmoil in more than the political and military arenas. The language often referred to as was another casualty of the dramatic resurgence of national aspirations amidst the fall of a country composed of various ethnic and religious groups.

Despite that fact, and even in light of Serbian attempts to emphasize the alphabet over the Latin one, the two “languages” remain largely overwhelmingly connected and intelligible to each other. Serbo-Croatian Text Course

That being said, the Foreign Service Institute course for Serbo-Croatian remains a viable option for learning these languages. With almost a thousand pages of text, the course remains the most comprehensive Serbo-Croatian course available.

In contrast to other FSI courses, it remains slightly less common which is why the release of the FSI Serbo-Croatian level 2 text as a download is good news.

Both text levels and the audio-text download for level 1 are available at Serbo-Croatian language downloads. The text portion of the course is available for $25.

I am very interested in purchasing the product mentioned at “http://thelanguagechronicle.com/fsi-serbo-croatian-level-2-new-download-available/” – namely “FSI Serbo-Croatian Level 2: New Serbian Croatian Text Download Available”. Recently, I attempted to do so by sending a persoal check to your address in Texas, but have heard nothing since.
Is there some way to arrange this purchase via Email? Please let me know what the charges would be and I would be happy to comply.
    Sincerely,
    Michael Powers
