While the Albanian speaking population is relatively small when compared to other languages, the number of programs and courses available for learning Albanian is actually growing. The question of how to learn Albanian is now being addressed by a number of publishers.

EuroTalk in particular is one company leading the charge. In the two years, EuroTalk has released four new courses. Talk Now Albanian for adults and Albanian Vocabulary Builder for Children had been released for sometime. Talk More Albanian which focuses on conversation, Talk the Talk Albanian which is focused on “Teen” conversations, and Talk Business Albanian were released in the last two years. The courses are relatively simple in their presentation, but provide sufficient material and quizzes/games to make this

Two additonal courses with plenty of material were also produced by Magnum Language Systems, Easy Albanian Pro and Easy Albanian Lab. The courses have not to my knowledge been updated to Vista, so this is the one issue that requires an update.

The other course which has also been available for several years is the Pimsleur Conversational course. The only downside is that the course has not been extended beyond the introductory ten lessons. Pimsleur is excellent but only released four to five new comprehensive levels a year and the timetable for Albanian has not bee released.
