The Pimsleur Swedish language course currently available is the “compact” version which consists of ten introductory lessons. Simon and Schuster typically releases about 4 new comprehensive levels a year. At present Swedish has not been mentioned as an upcoming release.

Nonetheless, the ten introductory lessons are a good starting point and if combined with other programs, like Talk Now Swedish Beginner Software and World Talk Swedish Intermediate course, can provide a respectable vocabulary and phrases to the aspiring Swedish student.
