I  put together a super list of free Italian language lessons  and language courses for those interesting in learning Italian  or just brushing up on existing Italian language skills.

The list is rather extensive but will nevertheless grow significantly over time. So check back periodically and review our Italian sections for updates.

In the future I will also add a number of Italian online newspapers, some Italian dictionaries, as well as a Italian internet radio station, to vary your list of  resources  as well as to keep your Italian learning interesting.

Goethe-Verlag’s Italian Tests
For the Italian student with some vocabulary under his or her belt, this site provides 100 tests for  Italian vocabulary as well as a number of Italian crossword puzzles.

 

BBC Languages – Learn Italian
One of the most extensive resource of learning Italian. The site includes a full range of courses covering basic grammar and a series of courses which include  Italian Steps, Talk Italian, Italianissimo, Italian Journey. A note worthy resource.

Centro Studi zItaliani
Centro Studi Italiani  presents the Italian Electronic Classroom. This website provides free online information for learning the Italian language regarding grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and so on.

 

The Internet Picture Dictionary: Italian
A very nice picture dictionary in Italian. This website also includes a number of  activities including Flashcards, quizzes, and a number of the exercises for learning Italian.
